Captain Blake Ray is a born and raised Douglas County native. He graduated from Heritage Home School in 2008. Blake has worked off and on in the timber industry since graduating high school. Captain Ray has been an active volunteer since 2008 where he began his service with the Tri-City RFPD #4. While there he quickly moved up through the ranks to 2nd Lieutenant. In 2017 he joined the Riddle Fire District and has been a productive member of the district, he is currently in the role of Captain. In that role he serves as the Admin Captain, as well as filling in as the Training Captain.
Blake is a father of 2, in his spare time he enjoys coaching or assisting in children sports, hunting, and is a avid Oregon Ducks football fan. Blake enjoys volunteering for the fire department and being able to serve his community. He is a second generation firemen, his father was a Safety Officer at Tri-City RFPD #4 and was active until his death. His father volunteered for 27 years.
